I met Pan in a Shanghai gallery she was working at that moment, and we immediately knew that we had to do something together. I was very interested in digging deeper into the queer culture in China and came up with a performance piece that was questioning gender topics and suggested to her to make the project together. I gathered the team, and we made the piece collectively.
