Blanca Aysa, the owner of Plan B Agency, commissioned me to create and develop a concept for the Christmas celebration with her team. She had as a reference Peter Greenaway´s movie, The Cook, the Thief, His Wife & Her Lover. That was the reason we decided to establish a red dress code for the evening. As her guests were more than each existing table in the local could handle, we came up with the idea to build a new one. It was how our 7-meter Imperial table was born. The shape was inspired by a ring that was on the finger of the architect Amaia Arzua, who designed the piece. Later on, we changed a bit the angles and got the final result. All the decorations on the table were bought from Boquería Market, an iconic food market in Barcelona´s city center.
